Dhanus' FleeTrac Gets DoT License

Dhanus Technologies, a leading global telecommunications company, has announced becoming the first company to have secured a license from the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) for its Vehicle Tracking Service, titled "FleeTrac".

Dhanus says "FleeTrac" is an advanced asset tracking service for remote monitoring and tracking of vehicles, which establishes voice and data communication with vehicle drivers anywhere in the country - in the language of their choice.

The service locates/tracks vehicles within a radius of 10 meters; and allows SMS/communication with vehicle drivers in emergencies, or when equipment is tampered with, or other such.

The vehicle tracking results are uploaded to a "FleeTrac" server, wherein the data is interpreted and consolidated into customized reports. These reports, including trip logs, route maps, and usage alerts, are then viewed via a secure, password-protected Web site.
