Nokia Connecting New Year's Eve
Nokia has announced the star cast for the India celebrations of the Nokia New Year's Eve party scheduled to span across five world capitals; Hong Kong, Mumbai, Berlin, Rio de Janeiro, finally culminating in New York.
Come December 31, and the Indian arm of Nokia's event will unfold at Mumbai's Andheri Sports Complex. Dotting the sterling show will be star performances by music maestro - A R Rahman, and actors - Priyanka Chopra, Shahid Kapoor, and Koena Mitra.
The highlight will be a rocking performance by Grammy Award winner, Nelly Furtado, who will render songs from her latest album, "Loose". Accompanying her on stage will be Canadian band, Josh Desi, who've been instrumental in remixing her wildly popular single, 'Powerless'.
Altogether, Nokia's world event is expected to witness a combined attendance of 1.3 million, with nearly over 8 to 10 thousand people expected to show up at Mumbai's Andheri Sports Complex.
