Nokia Unveils 8600 - Glass Enclosed Mobile

Nokia has always liked experimenting with designing their phones in quite unique shapes or with trend-setting materials like chrome, stainless steel and titanium. They have now unveiled the Nokia 8600 Luna, which has been precision engineered from glass.

The 8600 is a slider phone that has a rather unique opaque smoked glass as the keypad cover. Since it is glass, the keypad beneath glows slightly to add to the design. Nokia's uses a single micro-USB port for charging, audio and data connectivity. Since the 8600 is Quad-band GSM phone it can be used almost anywhere. It’s also equipped with a large display and a 2-megapixel camera.
